An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a crucial document that provides an overview of a property’s energy efficiency. Properties are graded from A to G, with A indicating high efficiency and G the lowest. The EPC details energy consumption and associated costs. It also offers practical advice to improve efficiency, reducing energy bills and environmental impact. Since April 2020, rental properties in England and Wales must achieve at least an E rating.
Our assessor will examine various aspects of your property, including age, construction, size, and primary heating systems like boilers and controls. They’ll also check insulation, including cavity walls and lofts.
Ensure our assessor has unrestricted access to the entire property to conduct the assessment properly.
An EPC is mandatory for property sales or rentals in the UK and remains valid for 10 years.
Your EPC certificate will be available within two working days, with expedited processing possible under special circumstances.
